Our next rehearsal is this Tuesday (1/16) evening from 8 pm to 9:30 pm in the chapel at KI.
In a separate e-mail you’ll be receiving an E-card announcing our concert, which you should forward to family, friends, and other singers so that they can put the date on their calendars. The Kimmel Center staff are preparing more specific promotional materials, which will include information on individual and group ticket sales. We hope to have more information available in the next week or so.
Reminders:
1. Please be sure to bring all your music to each rehearsal in a black binder or choral folder, with tabs (or Post-Its) labeling each piece. Don’t forget your pencil!
2. If you still need a copy of Chichester Psalms, please bring a check for $10, payable to Keneseth Israel. Come a few minutes early so you can get your copy from Sonnie before rehearsal. (Apparently, the third order was the charm…)
3. Please continue to review your music and texts regularly at home. For this rehearsal, please especially review the first movement of Chichester Psalms.
4. Find YouTube clips of our repertoire and study your scores as you follow the clips.
Another option for help learning Chichester Psalms can be found at cyberbass.com. First find the work, then pick your voice part and play the track as you follow in your score.
5. Be sure the following dates are on your calendars (times TBA):
Tues. March 13th Full Rehearsal with all singers and instrumentalists @ KI
Tues. March 20th Final Rehearsal, On Stage @ Verizon Hall
Wed. March 21st Performance
6. Remember to send out the 'Save The Date’ E-card to everyone.
